So, we had a girls' weekend. About every two years or so, my female cousins and the wives of my male cousins, get together for food, games, laughs, reminiscing and creating new memories. My cousins have always been like my siblings. We all grew up close (in proximity and in relationship) together. I have so many great memories with my cousins in my childhood but since we have all grown up and moved away, it gets more difficult to get together. Us girls have decided to make a point of keeping the relationships strong. And it is so fun!
There were 11 of us that met at Uncle Ken & Aunty Cheryl's house (bless their hearts) while they were out of town. Richelle & Jackie & Diana, Kelly & Robin, Cheryl & Carmen, Kim, Rhonda, Julie & I were there for the entire weekend. Eva came for a few hours on Saturday as well. We were sprawled on the floor and in the beds. We ate non-stop and talked non-stop. We told stories and shared advice. We played games and laughed till our cheeks were sore. What an awesome time of togetherness. I love my cousins!
