So, I found some American Craft Cloth Albums for a great price!
I was shopping a Winners (surprise, surprise!) and as always, I check the book section which usually has quite a selection of patterned papers, albums and stickers. Sometimes they even have assorted tools. I bought my crop-a-dile there for $16!
Anyway, a while ago, I took the Yesterday & Today class with Ali Edwards and she suggested these cloth albums for the class. Up here in Canada, we are slow to get the products that are plentiful in the US, so I had to order mine online through Scrapbooks.com. Their albums are $20 plus I had to pay the exchange rate and shipping, bringing my album close to $40.
Now, I found that reasonable, seeing how the Canadian scrapbook stores that are now carrying the AC cloth albums are charging $35. We really do get the raw end of the deal up here sometimes.
Anyway, I found these albums at Winners for $10 and less! The 12x12 albums were $9.99, so I bought four of them. The 8.5x11 albums were only $7.99 and I bought two of those. There were also some 8x8 for only $5.99, but I rarely scrap in that size, so I left those behind...although they were in my cart at one point.
I am smiling. I love a good deal!
