So, I just love this layering style of Marcy Penner and so I have used it again!
I have not used buttons in forever, but it just seemed like the thing to do here! I knotted a bit of Baker's twine through the holes and adhered it with silver glitter glue.
I also pulled out the velum again! In layering the title over the vintage paper, I wanted to be able to still see the text underneath so velum seemed like the perfect solution. I simply stamped my title on the velum (be sure to let it dry fully), trimmed and adhered with a glue stick. I know in the past velum had a bad rep due to the fact that the glue always showed through, but this seemed to work.
I see scrappers all over blogland using tags, so I thought I would too! Love the tail of Baker's twine!
For me, the best part is all of the layers and curling edges. Love it!
How about you?
