So, I have been following Shimelle this weekend and taking her scrapbooking challenges!
Unfortunately my internet has been sketchy all weekend and I have been unable to post the LOs I have completed. So I am hoping to post them throughout this week.
The LO at the top of this post was a challenge to create with inspiration gained from this LO and a video. You can read the full post for more information.
The point was not to copy the entire LO, but be inspired by something in the LO. I loved all the different techniques that Shimelle was using and these are the ones that I used in my own way...
Instead of a Bingo Card, I used number paper to cover a chipboard butterfly.
Instead of dots on the chipboard butterfly, I used dots in the background (and on the tiny butterflies).
Instead of stamping a frame around the feature photo, I painted the edges of my photo.
Instead of painting a border to house the Bingo card, I painted a rectangle and drew a border to house the "Love Always Wins" stamp.
Instead of using a rectangular stamp to house journaling, I used a similar stamp to stamp in my sentiments.
Instead of using letter stickers for my title, I stamped it!
...and I added just a spritz of Glimmer mist in the two corners to add some sparkle.
I love challenges!
