So, I have started my Summer Manifesto album.
I am following Ali Edwards and many others who have declared a Summer Manifesto and are now setting out to document the summer list through an album.
My album is from Simple Stories. It is a simple 6x8 chipboard album that I purchased at my local scrapbook store. The inside pages are also from Simple Stories (their line called Summer Fresh), including the variety of pocket pages.
On the first page of my album I slipped in a Fuji Instax photo that I took of my blooming irises. On the back of that pocket, I did this...
I love filling the pages with confetti (as per Lisa Truesdell) and leaving the photos to look like they are floating. I learned a few new techniques in the Divide & Conquer class that I am taking from Lisa.
The Summer Fresh kit came with 8 pages and I chose 10 items from my Summer Manifesto list to document, so I had to create 2 of my own pages...can you guess which ones?
Now that I have all of the pages set up in my album, I simply have to insert the photos and a little bit of storytelling. Easy!
