So, as an Instagram addict, I am now displaying my Instagram photos in the sidebar of my blog. >>>>>
I came across this little widget called SnapWidget which generates a gallery of my Instagram photos right here on my blog.
Since there are those who are unable to use or access Instagram, I thought that this would be a great way to share my photos. As many of you know, the camera on the iPhone 4S is pretty fabulous, and I have found myself taking more and more of my photos with my phone. It is small and it is easy. With the addition of fun photo-editing apps, I am spending more time playing with those photos, which seldom make it to my blog. This, to me, is how I hope to share the fun I am having in Instagram!
If you are a blogger and Instagrammer, check out this website... http://www.snapwidget.com/#getstarted. It is easy to install, just follow the step-by-step instructions on the website. I am currently trying out the Basic Widget, which is FREE. There is a Pro Widget, which costs $6.99/month, but I am happy to use the Basic for now and see whether it meets my purpose.
I am in no way affiliated with this website, I simply came across it and decided to try it out. I only started it myself today, but I am hopeful that it will be just great.
As I have mentioned before, I participate in a monthly Instagram challenge hosted by FatMumSlim. The majority of my Instagram photos are related to that Photo A Day challenge, as you will see by the hashtags associated with my photos. I love this challenge, as it motivates me to not only document my everyday, but also to take notice of my world in relation to the daily prompts.
If you are at all interested in joining this Instagram challenge, check out the Instagram hashtag #fmsphotoaday and/or FatmumSlim's website on how to play. She already has posted the prompts for November...
Hope to see you on Instagram...
