I have long admired the simplicity of Liz Tamanaha at Paislee Press. She creates the most amazing digital kits and uses white space to the fullest with her designs. Her December Daily project is one that I am keeping my eye on as I really want to keep my own DD project simple and streamlined this year.
Both the simplicity and the glittering gold drew me to purchase her most recent creations at The Lily Pad. The Press Cards no.18 are pictured above and come as a digital kit as well as a PDF for easy printing. Within seconds of purchasing these cards, I had them printed and cut up! So easy. Of course I am in love with the deer silhouette and it will fit wonderfully with my woodland theme.
Wanting to keep it simple, I also saw value in purchasing Liz's new kit called December, You Are a Fave. Once again, her designs use white space well and I love that the files in this kit are sized at 6x8 and will fit perfectly in my DD album. As an extra bonus, I can see myself using the photo templates for more projects than just December Daily.
Inspired by Liz, I pulled out some gold glittery paint and used my humble eraser stamps to create a few of my own card designs. I do like how they turned out and hope to play a little more this week.
In keeping with the gold theme, I also cut some feathers with my Silhouette Cameo and painted the tips with gold paint. They are slightly less than 4 inches tall and will fit perfectly in the pockets of my Simple Stories page protectors.
Now, I am working on some numbers...
How are you incorporating gold into your projects over the holiday season?
