So, here is my Project Life spread for February 13-21.
I really like the pops of green and cream in this spread. These photos are reminding me that it wasn't so long ago that we were still bundling up from the cold air.
In the centre row, that first card is the back of the Valentine's Day card that I made for my hubby, which went perfectly with the selfie that he texted me this week!
And yes, I am still knitting away at the project that I started here in the bottom photo! I will have a post on that soon.
Again, I find it interesting to look back on this spread from a few months ago to see the progress that I have made in my hand lettering! And I am remembering that this was a full week of sickness for me, so a lot of rest, working from home and drinking tea. I drank the whole box of cinnamon tea, and so cut up the box and added it to my layout.
In this spread, I made a little hidden journaling card. It was simply a 4x6 card that I folded horizontally. The 'right now' was printed on the card (Midnight Edition) and I added the gold star.
I had trimmed the left edge of the pocket to allow me to slip in the card. I wrote my journaling on the left side and adhered my photo on the right. When it was all in place, I stapled the card to the pocket so that it would stay in place.
And here is a look at the entire spread...
I am noticing that there are a lot of dark colours in my photos here, but my goal was to use a lot of white space to help balance that out for me.
