Day 12 of my December Daily was all about me!
I was in great need of a haircut so I visited my wonderful hairdresser. She always helps me to keep my 'edge' so I treated her to a gift card and decorated it up all fancy for her.
On my way home, I picked up a Starbucks peppermint hot chocolate and head home to work on my DD album. It was a good day!
My story on the 13th was all about the Advent journal that I ordered through shereadstruth.com. The daily lessons are so challenging my thinking and perspective.
The journal is a lovely bound book full of Bible readings, wonderful photographs, calligraphy and recipes! So glad I decided to buy into this journal for the Christmas season.
For this photo, I printed it as a horizontal 5x7, so I customized a pocket page with my fuse tool to house it. I am loving how this size is shorter than my other pages and just a bit wider so that it peeks out from under the previous pages.
The 14th and 15th were quick little spreads to put together.
On the 14th I printed another 5x7 photo to go into my customized photo pocket. To keep it simple, I typed my journaling right on the photo in Photoshop before printing.
The 15th is another customized pocket page of four 3x3 squares.
This day I was documenting the story of working from home to create these lovely pinecone trees for our upcoming Christmas party at work.
