So, I bought a Fujifilm X100T.
After hearing about mirrorless cameras, I did some research and this little camera won me over for several reasons.
First, it has a retro look to it. I know that is not super important, but the fact that it has a vintage profile meant that it scored points with me.
It is also lighter and more compact than my full-sized DSLR. I didn't always carry my DSLR around anymore because of its size and bulkiness, not even on my last few vacations! I got used to just having my iPhone and that became my default. But this little Fuji is slick to slip into my purse or bag and take with me. It also has a fixed lens, so I am not having to fuss with switching out lenses and carrying extras.
I am loving the quality of photo that this camera has over my iPhone (obviously). So much more clear and I have back the control over the ISO, white balance and aperture, all things that my iPhone could not give me. The ISO on my DSLR was only 1600, so it was in need of being replaced.
And it will fit nicely among my growing collection...
Looking forward to playing more with this Fujifilm X100T and hopefully bumping up those photos that go into my mini albums and Project Life albums!
